The USCPFA Scholarship is available to any student from the high school junior year through the college freshman year inclusive. The high school applicant should have a “B” average high school GPA or higher and be ready to pursue college level studies (i.e. no remediation needed). The college applicant should have a “B” average college GPA (3.0) or higher and must not be on academic probation. Additionally, the applicant’s intended studies must lead to some sort of connection to China (to include but not limited to the study of the Chinese language, Chinese medicine, Chinese literature, Chinese history, Chinese art, Technology).

Award amount:
There are two scholarships for the amount of $1,000.00 per applicant to be used towards a trip to China
Applicants must be U. S. citizens or permanent residents.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
Applications should be received by the USCPFA scholarship committee no later than September 30, 2008.
