| My EBSCOHost |
| The
library currently has more than forty research
databases from EBSCOhost.
With the My
EBSCOhost feature in these databases,
you can set up customized alerts that will automatically
send new articles from your favorite journals
or new results from your favorite searches. You
can get alerts by e-mail, or you can make an RSS
feed for each alert and view them in a reader
(see Stay
Current with RSS Feeds).
To make an My EBSCOhost
account, just follow these easy steps:
- Connect to any EBSCOhost database.
- Choose the "Sign In to My EBSCOhost"
or the "Sign In" link.
- Choose the "I'm a new user" link.
- Follow the instructions to create your My
EBSCOhost account.

| Journal Alerts |
| Follow
these steps to get updates of content from your
favorite journals as new issues become available:
- Connect to any EBSCOhost database.
- Choose the "Publications" link from
the "Basic Search" or "Advanced
Search" menu.
- Type the journal name in the "Browse
Publications" box.
- Click on the "Browse" button to
search for the journal.
- Click on the highlighted journal name to view
the journal.
- Click on the "Journal Alert" link.
- Log in with your My EBSCOhost user name and
password.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to
create the alert.
(be sure to choose the "No e-mail (RSS
only)" option if you want to get updates
by RSS feed)

| Search Alerts |
| Follow
these steps to get updates of content from your
favorite saved searches:
- Connect to any EBSCOhost database.
- Perform a search for the topic you want to
include in your saved search.
- When the search results appear on the screen,
click on the "Search History/Alerts"
tab.
- Click on the "Add to Search" box
to mark any search you want to save.
- Click on the "Save Searches / Alerts"
link to save the marked searches.
- Log in with your My EBSCOhost user name and
password.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to
create the alert.

only)" option if you want to get updates
by RSS feed)
