Welcome to my profile. 

I currently serve as the Assistant Vice President for Employee Services and Records Management.  I joined UHD in August, 1997 as Benefits Manager after a career in Human Resource Management at UH that began in 1982.  I also have several years insurance background that include individual and employer sponsored pensions, tern life, and disability insurance from AIG, Continental Insurance, and Eagle General Insurance;  in addition to three years payroll experience from Geo-Space Corporation.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of St. Thomas, and received my PHR Certification in 1999 and HRMS Certification in 2000.

I am a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Houston Human Resources Management Association (HHRMA), Texas Higher Education Human Resources Association (THEHRA), The Association of Records Management Administrators (ARMA) and the Greater Houston Industries Liaison Group (GHILG). 

Prior to its demise in 2005, I served on the State of Texas Group Benefits Advisory Committee for ERS from 1995 to 1998.
