Welcome to the University of Houston-Downtown!  UHD is one of four distinct, self-administered universities in the University of Houston System, located in Houston, Texas, USA.

With 11,000 students, UH-Downtown is a public four-year university offering a wide variety of excellent bachelor's degrees and selected master's programs. As Houston's Downtown University, UHD's dynamic campus is located in Houston's central business district.

At UHD, the emphasis is on excellence in teaching and student success.
