Classroom |
| All classrooms, including presentation and
e-classrooms, are assigned by the Registrar Office prior to
the release of the Academic class schedule. FRIENDLY
REMINDER:
If you require a presentation or e-classroom please remember
to complete the preference section in Banner when entering
your courses in the academic schedule.
Faculty Access Codes to electronic classrooms will be issued
by Shirley Kankey.
Any courses added after the release of the academic schedule
requiring a classroom, presentation or e-classroom will be
assigned by the departments
For ad-hoc classroom requests, including presentation and
e-classrooms, please email your specific request to Chloe
Tran (713-222-5394 or TranC@uhd.edu)
All presentation classrooms are equipped with overhead projector,
projection screen, and PC with network connections.
All electronic classrooms are equipped with up-to-date PCs
and access to laser printing.

or Printers |
The desktop project offers up-to-date standard PCs and
software, as well as access to printing, for all full-time
faculty and staff members of the university (within the context
of available funding and based on the priority set by the
unit leadership and/or representatives).

Computers - Circulating media carts, which contain
a PC, color monitor, wireless Internet connection and an LCD
video/data projector may be requested for classroom use.

| General Equipment |
+ Audio/Visual
- Instructional AV equipment is available, such
as casette players/recorders, CD players, headphones/microphones,
easels, extension cords, dissolve units, laser equipment,
and projectors.

Laptops - Laptop computers
are available on a first-come first-serve basis for faculty
or staff attending a conference for university business. In
addition, Information Technology has specific recommendations
for any one who wants to purchase a laptop.

Cameras - Multimedia Services
has several digital and 35mm point-and-shoot cameras that
are available for limited checkout to university faculty and
staff. If you are a first-time borrower of this equipment,
please schedule time to receive camera use training prior
to checkout.

| Telephones |

Telephones - You can add,
change or discontinue any of the following telecommunication
services: telephone connection, data network connection, video
connection, telephone equipment transfer, telephone upgrade,
long distance (FAC) code or calling card, fax line, telephone
and voice mail features.
Please note that any request from this form requires Departmental
Approval before submitting it to the Information
Technology Department.
