Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing and supporting information, materials, and designs for the university’s web environment and the web site for the Office of IT Projects and Compliance. It involves supporting IT project, reporting, and audit requirements and organizing information and materials in intranet sites and project portals, as well as maintaining requirements and posting materials on the university web site to meet state requirements. The position also provides assistance and training to departments in developing and posting web materials. |

| Web Programmer II |
The University of Houston-Downtown is currently seeking applicants for two Web Programmer II position within the IT department. This technical position will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and support for web based applications. Support and maintenance duties will include both custom applications developed in-house as well as some commercial vendor products. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of programming and design concept such as: requirements gathering, analysis, design, documentation, and support. The candidate should also be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and be self-starting. The candidate should be able to meet deadlines and develop applications with moderate to minimal supervision. |

| Network Analyst I |
The University of Houston-Downtown is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Network Analyst I. The server environment consists of Linux and windows servers and Cisco and other networking gear. The network environment is a CISCO based Ethernet with Dial-up access for students and faculty.
