Academic Computing Lab &
Technology Teaching and Learning Center

Information Technology has two primary computer lab environments. The Academic Computing Lab serves the student population, while the Technology Teaching and Learning Center is dedicated to faculty and staff support. Training sessions, electronic classrooms and presentation facilities.

The Academic Computing Lab is located in Suite 800-South in One Main and in C300 in the Commerce Building. There are over 475 computers represented in the lab, as well as several laser printers. The ACL features four computer-equipped classrooms.

The Technology Teaching and Learning Center (TTLC) supports the faculty in their efforts to successfully use and understand the many new technology tools and strategies at their command. Support staff in the center assist faculty in the development and implementation of interactive technologies that increase the effectiveness of their pedagogy. The TTLC offers hands-on training sessions to UHD faculty and staff. Training is available in a classroom format for groups and on an individual basis by appointment.
