The faculty of UH-Downtown are committed to giving students high-quality instruction, so that individuals receive the knowledge and skills they need to pursue their dreams - in careers, or graduate studies and research.

UHD faculty maintain close contact with the "real world," so that classes include up-to-date information and appropriate student projects.

UHD classes are small. As a result, professors can spend more time with students, offering individual attention when needed. At UHD, students are known by name.
