Upon entering UHD, undergraduate students become members of University College. This affiliation remains until they declare a major in one of the degree-granting colleges. It assists
students in Making Connections... Building Success.
University College is the port of entry for most new undergraduate students. It offers a support network that assists you in making the most of your university experience as you transition into and within higher education. Until you declare a specific major in one of our 5 colleges, University College remains your academic home, whether you are an entering freshman, continuing student, returning student, or transfer student. In addition to specialized programs, including mentoring, to foster your personal and educational success, major components of University College include Academic Support Services, the Academic Advising Center, and the Academic Support Center.
