Advising - Transient Student
    
A
transient student is an individual who is enrolling at the UH-Downtown
for one semester, but plans to graduate from another college or university.

Complete
and submit an application
for admission with Office of Admissions.

Bring
official or unofficial transcripts to the advising session from all
previously attended colleges regardless of whether college credit
was earned.
-
Demonstrate the requirements are met for a TSI
exemption as a non-degree-seeking student.
Student must show recent enrollment at an out-of-state or private
college or university, and a plan to graduate from an out of state
or private college or university.
There are
a number of helpful tools and programs available to transient students
at the UH-Downtown. Be sure to take advantage of them for your college
success.

concerning student rights and responsibilities. As a UH-D student,
you are responsible for understanding your
advising responsibilities and your advisors' responsibilities.
The relationship between you and your advisor is a shared responsibility.
