Hobbies: 1.) Writing Poetry. Published works include "The Four Hard Edges of War" (1992). This book has been translated into Italian and re-published in 1999 in a bilingual edition. "The Day Clocks Spoke Russian" will soon be publised in two languages, English and Spanish. "Dreaming Indigo Time" has been completed and is awaiting an editor. A fourth manuscript is in progress. 2.) Physical Fitness.

Interests and Goals: Research on all aspects of Uncertainty (Probability Theory, Fuzzy Logic, The Theory of Evidence, Rough Sets, Neural Nets). Coauthor with K. Omer and P. Siegel (of the UHD Business College) of two monographs on "Fuzzy Logic and the Theory of Evidence Applying To Accounting" which applies methods of uncertainty to business problems. These monographs will be part of a yearly series to publish new methods to deal with complex problems where the information is only partially present. At present, Dr. de Korvin has 152 research papers published in the field of Computer Science and Mathematics.
