Courses Taught: Theory of Database and File Structures, Software Engineering, Compiler Design and Construction, Programming Languages concepts, Object-Oriented Programming and Concepts, C Programming and UNIX, Principles of Operation and Assembly Language, Advanced Programming Techniques, and Introduction to Computer Science.

Hobbies: Swimming, volleyball, and table tennis.

Interests and Goals: Research interest in Object-Oriented Database Systems, Concurrent Processing, Optimization, Information Retrieval Systems, Wavelets, Fuzzy Logic, Data Structures and Software Engineering. At present Dr. Beheshti has over 25 papers published and/or submitted for publication.
