Visiting Scientist Program

Through funding by the National Science Foundation, the Visiting Scientist Program (VSP) is conducted by the Center for Computational Sciences and Advanced Distributed Simulation at the University of Houston-Downtown. The Visiting Scientist Program's mission is to strengthen the research and related educational activities in computer and information science and engineering at minority institutions. Through the VSP Program, selected minority institutions are provided funds for Visitations by recognized computer scientists, engineers and educators who can respond to the needs of the program proposal submitted by the selected institution and will establish a working relationship with the institution. In addition to the funding by the National Science Foundation, the VSP Program is supported by ADMI and the IEEE Computer Society.
