Organization Description
Family Life Education Department - providing services which include parent education classes, anger management classes, and parenting classes for divorcing parents.

Description of Internship
Cofacilitate children's groups, teaching social skills through the use of educational curriculum. Develop and prepare lesson plans and materials for children's groups. Assistance, participation, and observation in our adult groups including parent ed., anger management, and divorcing parents workshop. Work with FLE staff in administrative duties of the dept. and programs. Most groups meet in the evenings Mon-Thurs and Saturday mornings at various sites throughout Houston and vicinity. Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks of internship service.

Criteria for Interns
Open to all Social Science Majors; must be at least 18 years old.
