The goal of the University of Houston Downtown's Academic Support Center is to provide its students, in particular those enrolled in core courses, with support towards improving individual writing, reading, and mathematics skills. To reach this objective, the Academic Support Center features one-on-one consultations with members of the UHD faculty or with Peer Tutors, as well as a variety of learning aids. Among those learning tools available at the Academic Support Center are textbooks, study guides, videos (which the student can take home or view on site), and pamphlets.
 

In addition, academic support center has computer software programs that assist students with TASP preparation and with satisfying course requirements.

The Academic Support Center is open for the convenience of both day and night students.

Friday

7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Saturday

11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
