DRAMA - Bill and Ann Stokes Scholarship

Begun in 1996 through the generosity of Mr. William N. Stokes, Jr. and in honor of his late wife, Texas actress Ann Bradshaw, this scholarship is awarded each semester to four to six deserving UHD students. Each scholarship awarded is $400.00. A panel of judges reviews each application and determines the recipients.

In this special "service" scholarship, completing an application form makes a student a 'candidate' for a Stokes scholarship. During the semester, the applicant must work in the theatre area and participate in the various activities and productions that are planned. At the end of the semester, if it is determined that the applicant has successfully participated, the monies will then be awarded.
