Special Events Area
Up to Rooms and Floor Plans

The Special Events Area is located on the 3rd floor (Main Street Level) of the Academic Building.  The area is a large room that can be subdividing into three separate areas (White Oak Room, Buffalo Bayou Room, and Center Section). To reserve one of the Special Events rooms please complete an Event Request Form and submit it to the Office of Community Relations and Conference Services 621-S.

The Special Events rooms have the following features:

• Total Capacity 300
• White Oak Room Capacity -- 100
• Houston Room Capacity -- 100
• Buffalo Bayou RoomCapacity - 100
• Full multimedia capabilities
• Large ballroom area for Banquets, Dances, Professional Meetings, Job      Fairs, etc.
• Podium
• Full media and sound room (services available upon request)
• Motorized screen
• White boards in each area
• Each set up is customized to requester's needs (round tables,                    rectangular tables, chairs are available)
