I currently serve UH-Downtown as the Assistant Vice President for Employment, Training & Campus Relations/Affirmative Action Officer. I received a BSE in Biology from Truman State University (Missouri 1988), a MSE in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University (1992) and an Ed D in Administration & Supervision from the University of Houston (2007). I was previously employed at Truman State University, Texas Tech University, University of Georgia – Athens, New Mexico State University, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and most recently at the University of Houston Central Campus. My primary higher education focus has been within Student Affairs and Human Resources/Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity. I also teach training courses on topics related to diversity/sensitivity, leadership development, supervision, communication, the Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment, Equal Employment Opportunity, and conflict resolution.
